What a day!....It's December???....Awkward Moments.

Whew! I'm pooped...
Y'all wouldn't believe everything that has happened today. And, I'm not going to tell you, because I don't want to relive it. So, you can just go on wondering. :P

Well, it's December. Oh boy! One of the best months of the year. We get to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Can't wait for the church Christmas Program. I'm in costumes/makeup. It's soo much fun! :)

Anyone ever had one of those really awkward/embarrassing moments? Where when it happens, you turn redder than a ripe cherry? Wellllll, I've had a lot of those in my time...like yesterday...
I'm in a High School Chorale, and we practice on Wednesday afternoons. We've already had two concerts, now we're working on our, rather large, Christmas concert. As we stood there singing our hearts out. Our choir director asked us to give more, so we gave. He motioned for more, so we gave it our all. Have you ever been in a choir, giving it everything you've got, singing your heart out, and then you realize that for the past two measures you weren't even supposed to be singing? That those two measures were supposed to be the guys only? And that you're "sticking out like a sore-thumb"? Well, let me tell you, it is not a nice place to be!

A lot of "stuff" is going on in our lives right now. (It's not all bad, and it's not all good.) But, I ask that you lift us up in prayer.

Rainy Day

I'm not sure if it was raining everywhere else, but it certainly rained here. Not that I'm against rain, or anything. ;) But as I sat curled up in the chair with my favorite fuzzy blanket, and cup of hot tea, I thought about.......the ionic compounds in most water, especially rain. I know, I know: that was not what you were expecting. And I don't even like science! But I was going over in my mind what safe pranks you could do with rain water...after all, it does conduct electricity... ::innocentlook:: ;)

But, really, even though it would be considered a gloomy day by most, I enjoyed it! Watching the wind blow, and the rain fall, and the temperature drop. You know, tomorrow, it's supposed to snow up here, again. That should be fun...maybe....

While I was working on school, I listened to Christmas music. I love Christmas music! :) And can you believe that December is almost here?! I feel like we just started 2011. And here we are about to move into a new year. My, my; the older you get, the more you have to do, and the faster the year goes by. As it gets closer to Christmas, I'll dedicate a post to the highlights of my 2011. Hope you are all warm and cozy, at home, with a cup of hot tea/chocolate.

I finally started a blog...

Hello Everyone!

Well, I finally did it...I started my very own blog. I've been meaning to, for quite a while. But, I never really got around to it.

Anyway, this blog will have a wide variety of "stuff," on it: ramblings, competitive debate/speech, politics, theology, philosophy, school, recipes, tips, quotes, photos, lessons I've learned, and the latest wonderful "things" God is doing in my life................and maybe some other stuff. ;)
